Guess what?

I was in the hospital.

Had a TIA.  The doctor called it a "mini-stroke" and it happened on Wednesday.

I was getting Daniel something to eat (he was home again from school, sick) and suddenly my left side felt as if it fell off of the rest of my body.  I screamed and told Daniel that something was wrong, he grabbed at me and I could see him touching me but couldn’t feel it.  He called Ron at work and Ron called the ambulance.

Very scary crap.

I’m home now, on three new meds (one of them is aspirin).  I have an appointment on Tuesday with my family doc to discuss the TIA and how to avoid them (and real strokes!) in the future.

Sheesh!
