Sloppy Joes

The original recipe came from Gooseberry Patch in their “5 Ingredients or Less” cookbook, on page 145.    The recipe is called “Wanda’s Wimpies” and was sent in by Wanda Leuty.  It was for 6-8 servings, so I down-sized it and it made just enough for the three of us.

1 pound hamburger

1 can condensed tomato soup (approximately 10.75 oz.)

1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp. onion powder

1 tbsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. pepper

1 tsp. salt

Brown hamburger and drain completely.

Add tomato soup and spices, mix well, cover and simmer for about ten minutes.

Serve on toasted buns.  Enough for four people.  I served ours with Tater Tots, baby carrots, celery and radishes.
