Vertigo & A New Speaker

I went to the audiologist and picked up my hearing aid.  It has a new speaker and wow, things are loud!  The moment she put it in my left ear and then connected me to the computer, I immediately heard people outside of her office and said, “There are people out there talking.” and we both laughed.  Guess that just proves how much my hearing improved with the new speaker?  I couldn’t hear them before…

Ron drove today; I had planned on taking myself back and forth but was a bit lightheaded so he did the driving.  Good thing, because after lunch, after doing some shopping at Sam’s Club, I got a bit dizzy in the head.  Thankfully it wasn’t as bad as it has been, but still, it would have been scary.  It passed after about 20 minutes.

So tonight I’m sitting here hearing everything I haven’t been listening to for the past month – this is a noisy house LOL  I can hear the dishwasher swishing and splashing.  Dr. Pierpont told me that if I needed to have the hearing aid adjusted to call her before my appointment on the 19th and she’d fit me in.  I think it’ll be okay, though.
