I discovered this tasty recipe at Southern Plate and it sounded so delicious!

1 pound boneles, skinless chicken tenders

1 cup zesty Italian salad dressing

2 tsp. lime juice

3 tsp. honey

Place chicken in ziplock bag.  Mix other ingredients and pout into bag.

Feb 16 006Marinate for at least an hour.  When you’re ready to prepare the chicken, grab a skillet and set it on the stove on medium-high heat.  Add the chicken and marinade.

Feb 16 007Let it get hot and bubbly.

Feb 16 008Stir it around so that all of the chicken is coated with the marinade, which will thicken as it cooks.

Feb 16 009Mmmmmmmmmm!  It took my chicken tenders about 20 minutes to cook; be sure to use your thermometer and check the temp of the chicken.  It should read at least 160 degrees F.  Remove from skillet and let rest for five minutes before serving.

Feb 16 011Delicious!  Served them tonight with the baked potatoes that I shared about in my previous post.

Feb 16 010I also fixed green beans and roasted baby beets.
