Meatballs & Gravy over Egg Noodles

This comforting recipe is from Teauna at From Cupboard to Cupboard.  The only thing I changed was that I halved the recipe, and the type of breadcrumbs.

Ingredients and Directions for Meatballs:

1 pound hamburger

1 egg, slightly beaten

1 tbsp.  worcestershire sauce

1/4 cup bread crumbs (original called for Italian, I used plain)

1/3 cup milk

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAMix all ingredients together:

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAForm the mixture into meatballs.  I used my cookie scoop so that the meatballs would be uniform size.  Fry meatballs in skillet.  It took two batches because I didn’t want to overcrowd the meatballs.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERARemove to a separate container; rinse the pan out in order to prepare the gravy.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAIngredients and Directions for Gravy:

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1/2 soup can of water (I think this came out to about 5 oz. water)

1 packet brown gravy mix

1/3 cup milk

sprinkle of garlic powder

sprinkle of salt

Mix all ingredients in skillet.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAGently add meatballs.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAServe over wide egg noodles.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOh, and I sprinkled it with parsley, just for some pretty color.
