Hamburgers: George Foreman Style

It was a bit rainy last night, so Daniel and I decided to just grill our burgers inside.  Nothing fancy, just a couple of burgers grilled on the George Foreman grill.

Ingredients:

3/4 pound hamburger

few shakes of McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning

canola oil

Spray the George Foreman grill before turning on to preheat.

Break up the hamburger and sprinkle with the Seasoning; form into two patties.  Mine was about 1/4 pound and Daniel’s was the larger one.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAWe steamed the hamburger buns up in the bun steamer, too.  OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOnce the grill is hot – the light goes off – put the burgers on.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAClose the lid and let them cook for about two minutes per side – really, that’s all it took and they were medium-well.  A bit too done for me, but they were still good!  See how the grill pan catches the grease:OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAYum!OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI ended up removing the buns from the steamer and while the burgers rested (5 minutes), I sprayed the buns with canola oil, set them in the grill and they got grilled too!OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
