The word prompt for this week is STORY.

GO:

We all have a story to tell.

Some are filled with happiness; some are filled with sorrow.  Most are a mix of both.

I used to think that I wanted to erase so much of my past.  Maybe if I ignored it, I could pretend that it didn’t happen.  I made a lot of mistakes and did a lot of stupid things.

But then I realized through a lot of soul-searching that all of those things that I did; all of those things that happened to me and around me; everything made me who I am today.  All of that “stuff” is my story.  It makes me uniquely me.

So, my story began a long time ago and has a lot of curves in the road; there are hills and mountains; there are mistakes and there are glorious moments.

Little did I know that I’d end up here, in this place where I am today, thanks to everything that brought me here.  How will my story end?  I don’t know and don’t want to.  Sometimes today’s story is challenging; the past three weeks have been very difficult chapters in my story.  My husband was in the hospital and is still not 100% himself but he’s home and for that, I’m thankful.

God is good.  He is the Guiding Light in my story.  Even during the darkest days, He was there.  I was lost; but now am found.

And so the story goes on.story to tellSTOP.
