VIP

What does VIP mean?  Very Important Person?  Nope.  It stands for Very Important PLEDGES.  While perusing other blogs, I discovered one with a Kind Hearted Blogger Pledge and curiosity got the best of me.  It seems as though this Pledge was created in response to a mom who dealt with some unkindness on the internet.  She decided to be kind and to pledge to herself – and to her blog followers – to take the “high road” and be kind instead of bullying anyone back.  Wow!  It would be so easy for anyone to bully back, especially on the internet where it can seem so “impersonal” but instead, Jo Annie is covering the blog world with kindness.  Sweet!  She invites readers to learn her story and take the pledge.  Click the button below so that you can take the pledge, too.

What?  Another Pledge?  Yep!  This one is for Moms.  It’s pretty similar to Jo Annie’s pledge.  Please follow Elizabeth’s button and read the pledge and take it, too!  We Moms have to stick together and it is by our actions that our children learn kindness and love.  It’s an awesome responsibility but we can do it!

Quotes that I found and fell in love with:

Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.  Mark Twain

Kindness is in our power, even when fondness is not.  Samuel Johnson

Kindness, like a boomerang, always returns.  Author Unknown

The above quotes were taken from Quote Garden.

I found another important pledge to make.  It might be January right now but spring and summer are around the corner.  My husband has cancer; I’ve had two or three moles removed but thankfully they were benign.  Cancer is something we take seriously in my family.  Please, please, please follow the link and sign the pledge.  For yourself….for your spouse and children.
